20111231 End of Year Party 歲末感恩派對

[English Fellowship group/ report by Andrew Mau] On December 31st, the last day of 2011, the English Fellowship group had its last gathering for the year --- a party! The group would usually arrange for a speaker to share a topic with the brothers and sisters; but for that day, the tables were turned around --- the brothers and sisters spoke up and shared bible verses they love, heard, or memorized; their likes, dislikes, and wishes for the new year; words of appreciation and encouragement to the group and to each other. Lots of food, sweets, drinks were prepared and enjoyed. And before the meeting ended, everybody drew lots for special “verse” bookmarks and presents. The English Fellowship is looking forward to 2012… “ ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ ” (Jeremiah 29:11)

[英語團契/林恩德報導] 在12月31日，2011的最後一天，英語團契舉辦今年的最後一次聚會---派對！英語團契以往聚會模式通常都是請講員來對弟兄姊妹做分享，但是那一天角色大轉換，我們讓弟兄姊妹成為主講，請弟兄姊妹來分享他們所喜愛或是聽過或者背過的經文，他們也分享了他們喜歡與不喜歡的事物以及對新年的願望，還分享了一些對團契的感恩以及彼此激勵的話語。在派對中還準備了許多的食物、甜點及飲料彼此分享。派對結束之前，也請弟兄姊妹抽了特別的經文書籤及禮物。英語團契期待迎接2012年的來到…『耶和華說：「我知道我向你們所懷的意念，是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念，要叫你們未留後有指望。』（耶利米書29：11）(陳依湘翻譯)
